On December 16, the event of the Civil Society Advisory Panel of the Platform for Ensuring Gender Mainstreaming and Inclusion in Recovery brought together a community of experts and international partners in the field of gender-sensitive and inclusive recovery in Ukraine.
The meeting united representatives of the international Alliance for Gender-Responsive and Inclusive Recovery in Ukraine, Sectoral working group «Gender Equality» coordinating international technical assistance and civil society experts.
Together, participants developed develop concrete steps to implement recommendations of the “10 Blocks of Gender-Sensitive and Inclusive Recovery” in international projects, included to the Roadmap for planning further steps in implementing gender mainstreaming in recovery for the period 2025-2026. In particular, they worked with recommendations of the Block No. 9 “International technical assistance programs on recovery and development address gender barriers in all sectors ” and Block No. 10 “Support from international partners to women’s rights organizations in the gender-responsive and inclusive recovery processes”.
