This document is the result of joint efforts by the expert community of the Civil Society Advisory Panel under the Platform for Ensuring Gender Mainstreaming and Inclusion in Recovery.
The 10 blocks of gender responsive and inclusive recovery incorporate the needs of women and men, boys and girls from diverse groups. Only this approach can bring the principle “build back better” to life.
Participation of women in decision-making is a key component of effective recovery and will be a lasting investment in the future.
