‘”On the Road to URC 2025″: Government of Italy and Ukraine in cooperation with the Civil Society Advisory Panel of the Platform for Ensuring Gender Mainstreaming and Inclusion in Recovery and the Ukrainian Women’s Fund co-hosted an event aimed at provision of gender and inclusive approach in the recovery.
The event, held on June 23, 2025, facilitated elaboration of a common agenda for gender-inclusive recovery that would bring together the strategic vision and expertise of the Government of Ukraine, international development partners and civil society, on the eve of the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome (URC 2025). The conference presented the work of the Civil Society Advisory Panel of the Platform for Gender Mainstreaming and Inclusion in Recovery on operationalizing the concept of “10 Steps for Gender-Sensitive and Inclusive Recovery” as well as on analytical provision for gender mainstreaming and inclusion in recovery.
The preparatory event will help ensure the integration of a gender perspective and inclusion into all panels and formats of the Conference.
